Joel J. Lorenzatti


Joel J. Lorenzatti studied philosophy at the National University of Rosario and the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). Upon graduation, he worked as a research fellow at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina and participated as a visiting fellow at the University of Leiden (the Netherlands) and the University of Tartu (Estonia). In 2018, he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to pursue graduate studies in the United States. Joel currently resides in Storrs, CT, where he is a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at the University of Connecticut. His primary research interests include translation studies, the philosophy of biology, and the philosophy of cognitive science. Since 2019, he has been researching aphantasia.
